I am a registered nurse and a resident of Napanee. I am concerned with the health effects of changing the standard, particularly since cumulative impact studies have not been completed. Our health care system is beyond overloaded now and we must look to preventative medicine. One way to do that is to be extremely careful in ensuring guidelines and standards for Public Health safely are adhered to. Until such time as the appropriate studies have been conducted, taking into consideration other industries in the area, I believe this request should be denied.
