I am heavily in favour of this extension until December 31, 2024. Cottages have always been a critical part of the makeup of Rondeau Provincial Park. This extension will allow the Government of Ontario, the Region of Chatham-Kent and the Cottagers to come up with a lasting permanent solution that will be of benefit to the overwhelming majority of stakeholders. Crafting and executing this permanent solution is long overdue and I hope this extension will allow the process to finally move forward.
