I strongly do not agree with the proposed changes outlined in the re-designation of land under the Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan. There is absolutely no reason to expand land under the settlement area to include natural linkages/core and countryside areas. The development occurring in the Oak Ridge area is largely semi-detached/detached houses. If the province hopes to address the "housing crisis", it should focus on building development compared to expansive home developments that are largely inefficient. Build upwards on what is already available, rather than creating plans for detached houses that no one currently suffering because of the housing crisis can afford anyways.
