I support the extension and considering that cottages have been there for almost 100 years cottages should be included as part of the management plan period and their leases given some permanency.
Many of these cottages are of significant heritage value and should be acknowledged in the mgmt. plan and discussed in your park heritage plan as per park Act. Shame on you for ignoring this value.
Parks are made for people to enjoy conservation and park values which in this park includes nature and cottages.
Most parks this day include various options for public use. Cottages should be rentable to maximize use if so desires.
I find the last minute extensions and treatment of cottagers appalling.
