There is plenty of land…

There is plenty of land outside of the greenbelt that can be used to build homes that will require less supporting infrastructure (new roads, utilities, etc.) by utilizing already developed land.

Premier Ford has justified the need for more housing in response to the Federal government's plan to allow more immigrants by 2025 and the need for housing these immigrants. But construction of this new housing won't even begin until 2025. He's just using immigrants as a strawman to terribly justify this awful decision.

All this will do is add to the increasing problem of urban sprawl. This is not a solution.
