The Greenbelt is important and protected land that the government PROMISED to leave untouched.
To suggest that the only way to fox the housing crisis is to sell protected land and supports every single one of our lives via biodiversity is absolutely ludicrous.
If one developer is allowed they will all want in - this land is NOT for sale, this land is Ontario’s land and it is not Ford’s to give away.
This is a sloppy disingenuous proposal that has been put forward for PROFIT, not for finding real solutions to the housing crisis. What about the climate crisis? Houses built will be filled with no one when the earth can’t sustain us anymore.
This is short sighted, counterproductive and pure EVIL.
