As Canada grows, our need for farm lands and ecologically safe zones becomes more and more important to feed our citizens, to help scrub the pollution from our air, and to provide for the anglers and hunters of our province. We should be preserving these greenbelt areas.

We do need to build to accomodate our growing population, but making short term gains at the expense of long term sustainability is foolish at best and disasterous at worst. We should build upwards and optimise existing infrastructure instead of aimlessly expanding without vision.

Please, reconsider how we approach the growing need for mobility in our province. There is a way to improve how Ontarians get around without sacraficing some of the best soil in the world and paving over one of our most valuable resources.
