I think that this is a horrible idea. We know and see and feel the affects of climate change. There are going to be a trickle effect that happens, most importantly the displacement and destruction of natural wild habitats that exist along those areas. We just saw a coyote while my daughter was walking out dog. This is getting to be more and more of an issue because these animals do not have the space they need. To add to that - this was already discussed and Ontarian’s were promised, assured that the green belt would remain as is. I believe it should not be touched and remain protected. There has to be other solutions that exist without further destroying natural protected spaces.
