Farmland is not a suitable replacement of natural landscape. I would be more than happy to have the Oak Ridges Moraine added to the Greenbelt, but any sort of human-developed landscape, including countryside, does equate to the natural landscape which is being proposed for housing development and is therefore not an equal land reallocation even with the additional land.
The Greenbelt is a designated area of our province which is not supposed to be touched for the purposes of conservation. Let's not start making trades on that when we can find alternative places to develop which could better benefit from it, such as the smaller cities and communities towards the north of the province.
