This government and previous ones made a solemn commitment to not violate or develop the Greenbelt, but has consistently made moves to do just that. Accept no as your answer. The Greenbelt is not to be developed. Urban sprawl will not sort out the housing crisis when there is no infrastructure (transit, water, power grids) to support it. Build our cities up, not out. Our environment is too precious and those of us in cities need these green spaces as our accessible refuge when we need to escape to nature. The answer is no.
