Doug Ford, leave the green…

Doug Ford, leave the green belt alone. You promised you would, so stay true to that promise. I won’t argue about how your proposed highway perfectly lines up with land your donors/friends hold. I won’t argue that while you love to say that “the people voted”, you actually won with about 18% of Ontarians wanting you. That means 82% of Ontarians didn’t want you as Premier, but we are stuck with you. I will simply argue for the preservation of nature, especially considering the climate catastrophe we are currently in. The green belt is host to a multitude of different species, plant and animal alike, and there is no reason to develop it when there is a MULTITUDE of other options for housing. You could Develop all the empty office buildings and turn them into low income housing for example. Just please, don’t develop the green belt. Leave it alone, and allow the conservation authorities to do their job the way they want to.
