I am very concerned that our provincial government is cutting protections we have in place that provide a balance between protecting our cultural and environmental heritage, and the need for affordable housing. Lands that have been protected or would be subject to regulation will now be open for development - there are other lands that can be used for these purposes. I’m also concerned that this will pave the way to line the pockets for speculative developers. Please reconsider these proposals !
