Our family has been cottaging in Rondeau for 6 generations; since my Grandmother and her parents built the cottage. The Park was chartered for cottaging in 1894 yet so much time and energy has been unnecessarily required over the years to deal with the ongoing renewal of the leases. A solution must be found for the permanent occupancy of the cottage lots, and a sale under Section 9(3) of the Provincial Parks & Conservation Reserves Act (2006) as directed by Minister Jeff Yurek is the best way.
