A solution must be found for the permanent occupancy of the cottage lots, and a sale under Section 9(3) of the Provincial Parks & Conservation Reserves Act (2006).
It is so awful that this has been dragging on for the cottagers all this time and leaving them hanging for all these years with unfulfilled promises. It is also cruel to prevent them from having any kind of "certainty" in their homes and affairs as result of this unnecessary ongoing lack of commitment.
One would expect a more professional, and genuine outcome from the Ministry.
