Dear Minister of the Environment,
I am opposed to removing land from the Greenbelt. This land has value as sourcewater protection, habitat protection, agricultural use, and recreational use. This land has already been set aside to be protected in perpetuity for future generations. There is already land set aside for housing that is not in the Greenbelt, and therefore there is no need to touch the Greenbelt. Also, people need affordable housing, not housing that is far from services, that you need a car to access, and that is built for people who have the wealth already to purchase them.
This bill should not go through.
