Dear Minister,
As someone who has a family home on the Greenbelt, I am opposed to this proposed Bill. The Greenbelt should be protected from development at all costs, and taking land from it, while substituting land elsewhere is not a good plan. There is already plenty of land that is not in the Greenbelt that is marked for development. What the citizens of Ontario need is more housing close to services like transportation and stores. That means desifying closer to existing cities. Building on the Greenbelt is not the solution, and I am very disappointed that it is being considered. Please do not proceed with this bill.
