The greenbelt should be preserved at all costs. There is existing land outside of the greenbelt that can be used for new housing developments. The greenbelt is an essential ecosystem that sustains air and water quality, local food production, biodiversity, and quality of human life for the region. It's obvious that development is being proposed on the greenbelt for the benefit of wealthy developers who have already purchased protected land. Do not allow developers to make decisions that will affect generations to come.
