There is ZERO need to encroach or change any of our limited Greenbelt space.
We have no shortage of developable land. We are the second largest province in the second largest nation in the world.
LEAVE the green space alone! This is a ridiculous plan to appease developers so they can build more in already over populated area.
This is yet another short sighted plan that will have long term negative impacts. Just as removing our many rail system was and then encouraging the use of public transit. Why our nation doesn’t have bullet trains, is beyond me. All developed nations do.
But I digress, I can’t stress, my NO, for this plan enough. The last thing we need is to expand the urban sprawl by reducing the few breaks for nature and wild life. Sustainability requires we spread urban areas out in clusters.
