Heritage properties should be protected. Imposing restrictive timelines on municipalities to register listed properties is burdensome and will clearly result in the loss of heritage protections. The only people who benefit from this are developers.
The people of Ontario need culture through heritage buildings. This proposal is detrimental to the people of Ontario.
