This Ontario Government swore it would not touch the Greenbelt. Premiere Ford said he "listen to the people and wouldn't touch it"... The proposed changes will have no significant impact on affordable housing in Ontario and will not even begin to cover the growing concerns of Families living here. What it will do is reduce the volume of viable farm land and increase the risks of food scarcity. As a voter in Ontario I ask that the Government put a halt to this bill and side with families for once. You have three more years in power and Billions in surplus to make positive changes. So far all we have seen if pandering to wealthy land developers, starving our public healthcare and education sectors much needed funding and pandering to those who would profit off the fear of Ontarians. It sickens me... You should all be ashamed.
