This proposal undercuts…

This proposal undercuts decades of hard fought environmental protection policy that was based on sound expert advice. This is now being erased because wealthy developers have lined the pockets of our provincial government with sufficient amounts of money that it will put the interests of corporations over those of its citizens. As has happened time and time again. And you wonder why the public has lost faith in its government.
There are many solutions to Ontario's housing crisis and this is by far one of the least efficient ways to tackle it. But you already know that. Unfortunately you are required to consult us, the public, the very people whom, on paper, you technically work for. So at least we have a chance to speak our minds before you ignore us and do it anyway.
Here's what we want: Do your job and make decisions in OUR best interest. WE don't want this change. Some day your names will be in a history book somewhere. Do you want your grandkids to be proud or ashamed of carrying the family name? What good is another sports car, yacht, or cottage when you can't even look yourself in the mirror?
