These changes to the Ontario Heritage Act are NOT constructive. It makes heritage stays harder to obtain and hurts the ability of our minority communities to make the case for designation of important sites
Heritage buildings help make communities vibrant communities to live in. They are economic drivers for tourism and bring a sense of pride and a sense of place.
These changes are devastating and short sighted.
