I am opposed to the "Proposed amendments to the Greenbelt Area boundary regulation ERO Number 019-6217". The Green Belt and Oak Ridges Morraine should not be fragmented any further than they already are - these protected lands for the long-term contribute to contiguous natural heritage areas and protected habitats towards conserving Ontario's biodiversity. In line with the UN Biodiversity Conference (Cop 15 Dec 7-19 in Montreal), no further lands should be removed from these protected areas. Bold actions to protect our natural heritage areas are needed.
