The changes will not benefit the people of Ontario.
This is about lining the pockets of developers and land speculators (particularly those that contribute to the PC party).
These changes will not lead to more affordable housing. It will not create more livable communities (e.g. less parkland).
Thanks to new exemptions to development charges, developers will profit at the expense of local taxpayers who will see their taxes go up exponentially or they will have to accept significant service cuts in order to pay for all the new servicing.
These changes put developers and land speculators first, not the people of Ontario.
