Environmental protections…

Environmental protections are in place for so many reasons. Not only do they keep Ontario beautiful, ensure adequate farmland to feed Ontarians (and others), and keep our negative environmental impact lower, but they also keep our waters (lakes, rivers, etc.) clean, ensure local animals have connected stretches of land to live in (which protects them and us, including allowing appropriate intermingling with other communities to prevent inbreeding), and gives Ontarians a place to explore our local flora and fauna!

We need to build up, not out. We need to build affordable housing complexes, not more unaffordable single-family households. We need to be focussed on making things more local as easy to access instead of having yet another under-utilized highway for people to get bottlenecked as they approach the city centres.
