It is important to build more AFFORDABLE housing. Demolishing the greenbelt and taking away Heritage designations erases our history forever and does nothing to increase affordable housing. These significant areas must be left for future generations to cherish and enjoy. Creating another authority body to oversee heritage designations is a total waste of taxpayers money. Municipalities have plans for development and for heritage designations. Let the local communities do what is in their best interests with their unique situations.
