I stress the importance of approving the Waterloo Region ROP as it is. It was overwhelmingly approved by all our area municipalities and Regional government. We need to prevent devastating urban sprawl affecting our agricultural land, groundwater, and green space.
In light of global warming, we clearly need more walkable living areas with increased affordable public transit.
