The Region of Waterloo has worked very hard with citizens to come up with a sustainable forward looking Plan. It provides for housing development while still protecting important farmland. It is important to the citizens of this region that the Plan be approved. Local input cannot be ignored! Also there is no one size fits all for every area of the province. The plan is a compromise which provides protection for water sources as well as providing a greater number of housing options.
Please do not ignore the extensive work and consultation which has gone into this! it works for us.
