I support Waterloo Region's…

I support Waterloo Region's Official Plan and Amendment 6, because this plan was made with the needs and interests of local citizens, and all but one of the 17 Regional Councilors approved of this plan.
This plan allows growth within existing urban boundaries, which more than meets the needs of the Region beyond 2050. I support this plan because it preserves local farmland and our ability to feed ourselves with local products, rather than relying on imported food which is of lower quality and less dependable supply.
