Please approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.

Please respect the citizens of Waterloo Region; all but one of our 17 elected representatives voted for the Regional Official Plan Amendment 6 after listening to public input and weighing what was best for our community.

There are so many other reasons why it’s important to myself and my community to approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.

For example, building inside the city limits will mean people don't have to drive everywhere and can save money they'd otherwise have to spend on gas.

Furthermore, it fights climate change. It will reduce traffic emissions, the biggest source of greenhouse gases in Waterloo Region.

Additionally, I save money by buying locally produced food. Plus, my family is healthier from eating food grown locally, by people I can know and trust.

These are just a few of the important reasons to approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.
