PLEASE approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6!!!
I care about preserving the land that produces our local food.
I also care about creating affordable, energy-wise housing on land that already exists for that purpose within city limits.
I care about creating walkable cities with good public transit so we don't continue to deplete our environment through using fossil fuels.
I care about reducing greenhouse gases and fighting climate change.
Amendment 6 respects all the citizens of Waterloo Region -- 16 of 17 elected regional councilors voted in favor of the Regional Official Plan Amendment 6.
