Please approve Waterloo Region's Official Plan Amendment 6.
• because it's better to buy locally produced food - we are so fortunate to have local produce in our immediate area - it's healthier, less expensive and better for the environment
• because building inside the city limits will mean people don't have to drive everywhere and can save money they'd otherwise have to spend on gas
• because it respects the citizens of Waterloo Region: all but one of our 17 elected representatives voted for the Regional Official Plan Amendment 6.
• because it fights climate change. It will reduce traffic emissions, the biggest source of greenhouse gases in Waterloo Region
