My family and I do not consent to floating accommodations on public waters, particularly narrower lakes that require careful navigation and observation of boating laws. These floating dwellings can represent a danger to boaters of all ages, a safety risk for wild life, and a big health and sanitation risk as pollution in the water would increase materially. There is absolutely zero valid argument for creating floating dwellings on Ontario’s public waterways.
