RE: Amendment to Ontario Regulation 161/17
Can you please clarify how closely boats can moor next to one another when camping on public water? It would be appreciated if boats were spaced some distance apart.
Could you include motor boats of non-residents in the prohibition from anchoring for extended periods of recreation within 300 meters of a developed shoreline? I am referring to motor boats that set up for a full day in prime beach locations, close to shore. Such a prohibition would protect swimmers, especially in areas of shallow water.
