Should this bill pass, we as long time Georgian Bay boaters and the hundreds of other boaters will have no where, when all we have is the weekend, to drop anchor. Most boaters are respectful of cottages and private property. The few that ruin it for others are just that, a few. The slip fees we pay to the Marinas in turn pay taxes. We support local businesses while we are out. This will cause major congestion at the few areas we are permitted to anchor at, and even now with a variety of possible spots it can at times be very busy. We have a big body of water, and no one should have the right to possess or “own” any of it. It belongs to all of us.
