These proposed changes are terrible and ridiculous for boaters. Is this being done to stop cabins on barges? If so it is somewhat understandable & should only be rules for these units but we as boaters have no issues outside a few isolated people breaking noise rules for anchoring where our children can swim and where anchors can secure to the bottom of the lake. Boaters are respectful and responsible. In all my years boating and anchoring up and down the Trent Severn system I’ve never encountered boaters upsetting anyone by anchoring in more shallow water. Thousands of boaters & marinas across this province are outraged. This bill needs to be thrown out and we will not stop u til it is.
