I do understand that land owners do not want someone anchored near their cottage or home. But 300m is to long of a distance. This would eliminate most anchorages on smaller bodies of water and a great number on the great lakes and Georgian Bay. Sometimes as a boater we need to take shelter from the weather. On Georgian bay we could be caught up in 1.5 to 3m waves and need shelter. Even at a 150m from shore you are in the open. Most boaters respect the privacy of the land owner. 150m would be more respectable for both land owner and boater. 7 days in one anchorage is also agree able. Most marinas are full and have very few transient docks available .Thank you for considering my veiw.
