Thank you! Thank you! I support and hope these proposed changes are approved, implemented and enforced.
I own an island property in Gloucester Pool in the Georgian Bay/ Muskoka district where so-called “container cottages” have been such a destructive threat to the quality of cottaging, community and environmental impact.
Those trying to take advantage of existing loopholes and old regulations need the rules updated and clear to all. These proposals look like they will address that ambiguity and prevent a lot of stress and conflict which has plagued the area for several years now. I wouldn’t wish these eyesores, dubious environmental practices, upset neighbours and arguments on any other lake community. Thank you!!
