The proposed changes are ridiculous.
By not allowing anchoring within 300 m of shore shuts down many spots where a vessel is able to moor.
These changes are basically extending lake front property into the lake. It also takes away a level of saftey and protection cruising boats to seek safe harbour when the weather turns. It also forces vessels to jump from marina to marina spending large amounts of money on docking fees and there is not exactly a surplus of slips for transient boaters.
It is funny that Canada prides itself on our beautiful nature yet let's make policies that make it impossible to enjoy it unless you are lucky enough to own a cottage.
