Good day, i fully support the recommended changes to this regulation which will hopefully restrict the use of "floating cottages" made out of old shipping containers. These are present and in use on our lake and are a scourge on the landscape. They are unsightly, unsafe, environmentally harmful, and make no contribution to the tax base. They squat on public lands and prevent the suitable use of these areas by true recreational users. Its time that the three levels of government agreed on a fulsome strategy to control these and while this change is a good start, it doesn't go far enough in my opinion.
With thanks.
