I endorse the proposal in principal. There needs to be wording that allows for less regulation for boat camping on the Great Lakes, Trent Severn Waterway, and Rideau Canal. The restrictions as stated should apply to all Ontarios other 250,000 lakes with exceptions and exemptions for Great Lakes, Trent Severn Waterway, and Rideau Canal.
The non-navigating floating structures (sea containers/bathes/rafts) in place for long-term accommodation should be completely banned over Ontario’s waterways. The proposal needs to include the tools and legislation for authorities to remove and impound (until all related seizure costs have been repaid) these structures from the water.
