As a cottage owner paying property tax and having to conform to all regulations, I am against non-navigational floating residences such as seacans set on styrofoam being allowed to effectively squat on crown land, dropping spuds into the lake bottom and potentially dumping black water into the lake. I have no issue with conventional craft, cruisers, house boats, etc, but a semi-permanent, non powered floating residence secured to crown land for extended periods should not be allowed.
