I am in support of this, good work done here.
Houseboats / floating cottages should be close to water, sewage, and garbage disposal- marinas provide that.
The risk of high winds and waves is very real as well - posing real safety issues for some water craft and inexperienced boaters. I have witnessed a houseboat trying to navigate Georgian Bay in a rainstorm and it was alarming - the neighbours and me were watching it to see if they needed rescue- it is a significant issue.
The environmental impact is hugely important - we need to protect the water from garbage, grey water and other associated issues with this topic.
