Lack of an Environmental Assessment prior to the company gaining approval.

Environmentally Protected Area has the drain from the property pass by it with potential harm to flora & fauna.

The site is on a flood plain with a slope to 3 drains on the property. It flanks pasture land with cattle grazing there. The site would inevitably pollute the grazing field & cattle. Who would want to eat this meat????

We live downstream from the site and have at least one flood of the drains around our property annually. We shudder to think of our pet & young grandchildren playing on the lawn that would be covered in the contents of raw sewage.

The unknown elements in the raw sewage can include bleach & formaldehyde, bacteria, viruses, toxins, cleaning solutions, food waste, and other items that aren't supposed to be flushed. These are all potentially going to be harmful to humans & wildlife alike.

Appropriate sewage treatment is available within a reasonable distance and should be utilized rather than cost-cutting and spreading raw, untreated sewage on open land.

The proposal is vague, gives The Stool Bus freedom to define parameters like defining "spill", "appropriate remedial action" etc. The log book to record daily activity and ALL complaints has no apparent oversight to be sure that ALL complaints and concerns are in fact acknowledged, addressed & resolved fully.

Decisions like what is a significant spill, who determines when the Ministry is contacted, etc seem to be in the hands of The Stool Bus. This is a dangerous situation as the decision will be made with considerations of reputation, financial impact and the effort required rather than objectively considering the environmental and human impact immediately and over time that any spillage would create.

The owner of The Stool Bus lives in Southwest Middlesex and yet he wishes to pollute Strathroy Caradoc. Why not do this in his own backyard, with his neighbours experiencing the results of the odours, stigma etc. on them?
