I have a small island with a small cottage in Bay of Islands. Over the past few years, someone with a camper on a barge has been camping for 21 days on Wells Island, which is "Crown Land". After they left, I went to Wells Island and found a 50 gal. drum dumped on Wells Island which had human feces spread all over the site near where the barge was tied up. Totally disgusting and a health hazard! The barge people also had hammered a tie-up post into the rock at Wells Island. They have been camping all over Bay of Islands for at least 5 years.
Because of these very negative experiences, I fully support the changes proposed to amend ON Reg. 161/17!
