It is with disbelief that I understand that Dwayne Wilson has applied to spread untreated waste on open land in an area next to where people, farm animals and wildlife live. I researched the practice of spreading human sewage and cannot understand how this act, which is a danger to life, land and water, could be permitted. Please send the human waste to local treatment plants. The septic pumping company we use does this. They understand that travel to the facility and the process itself has an associated fee. Take a lesson from days gone by, there is a reason for disposing of sewage through treatment plants. If we want to avoid heavy metal contamination, infections, diseases, pests and other present and future hazards, please do not allow the dumping of raw sewage in our rural neighbourhood.
