The proposal looks good provided that Transport Canada rules that designate the floating home as a "vessel" do not supersede this regulation, in affect ignoring the regulation.
Can wording make it clear that this type of floating vessel accommodation must be licensed for use on waterways within a municipality so that grey water, black water, anchoring system, and overall size be regulated? Also, the ability for municipalities to prohibit the use of this type of floating vessel accommodation on certain lakes within their boundaries must be made possible.
