I am opposing this proposal…

I am opposing this proposal for the following reasons.

This location is situated on prime agricultural land and is surrounded by similar fields, some of which have livestock. There are homes on the surrounding properties which rely on wells for their water supply.

The location has an active waterway flowing through the property, connecting it to other systems and there-by allowing for direct contamination of the watershed. A number of wetland areas are located close to this site and no doubt attract large numbers of birds and other wildlife.

Allowing untreated human waste to be dumped in any area is questionable at best, and extremely hazardous at worst. These materials contain toxins, viruses, and bacteria. They will create a continuous noxious smell that will interfere with the reasonable expectation of enjoyment of one’s property.
We are supposed to be increasing awareness and protection of sensitive ecosystems not destroying them. We have developed sewage treatment facilities to deal with large scale waste processing, they should be utilized in this case and any other similar situations.
