We all need to be super vigilant in regards to what the government is doing.
There seems to be no concern for the well being of our wetlands and greenbelt areas with this government, they can not be trusted.
Building more homes should be done on any available land within the city limits. Anyone driving around can see lots of structures in industrial areas not being used. Change the bylaw to residential and use land that is just sitting there.
Building in the Greenbelt means having to travel by car/bus or train to get to work...how is that helping our environment.
The homes they are planning on building are huge homes no one can afford only the upper income portion of society. What about affordable homes to make it easier on people to meet their needs and requirements and enable a lot of them to work instead of being on welfare.
There is no common sense in the present government, they have lost touch with reality and what most of us have to deal with to survive in our daily lives.
I am asking the Environmental Registry of Ontario that transportation projects require a proper environmental assessment and help protect our green spaces!
Thank you.
