This proposal is backward thinking. It is barbaric and cruel. This government has done nothing to show it has reverence for living things or living greenspaces. It consistently supports the opposite.
Putting this proposal in place to prevent the behaviour from going underground is a weak response and suggests that this cruel sport is acceptable. 1000 yrs ago it might have been. Be progressive, learn from history, encourage kindness and compassion towards living things and DO NOT support this activity.
It sickens me to know there are people who think this is some sort of sport and further angers me that this government would entertain this proposal. It’s barbaric! Stop it!
